"Neugierig gemacht auf TACET hatte mich zum ersten Mal eine Aufnahme des Auryn Quartetts. Dessen Einspielung von Schuberts Quartettsatz in c-Moll (D 703) hat schon in manchem CD-Player-Test als Herausforderung herhalten müssen - eigentlich viel zu schade! Die vier Musiker schlossen sich 1981 zum Quartett zusammen und begaben sich auf den weiten Weg, ein Ensemble zu werden; dazu studierten sie beim Amadeus Quartet und dem Guarneri String Quartet und nahmen mit großem Erfolg an Wettbewerben teil. more...
