This stunning recording from 2001 is since that year a point of reference of the disturbing work: Auryn Qartet and Poltéra are at an expressive peak here, giving the music’s gentle melodies and the numerous dark sides a haunting character. On Blu-ray, the very precise surround recording sounds better than ever.
