Début 2021, les travaux de rénovation de l’église où ont été enregistrés les précédents volumes (sauf le 6) de l’intégrale des 555 sonates pour piano de Domenico Scarlatti ont marqué une pause. Une bonne surprise, dont nous avons profité pour enregistrer ce septième volet, comprenant les sonates K. 236 à K. 251, retrouvant avec plaisir un cadre familier. Est-ce le volume le plus réussi ? C’est ce que nous nous demandons aujourd’hui. Cher mélomane, aidez-nos !
